Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-05-06. Plain language. No legalese theatre.
What We Collect
Two things, and that's it:
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymized page views, referrer, country, device type. We use this to know which pages people read. We do not see your name, email, or anything that identifies you.
- Google AdSense — ad-personalization cookies. AdSense does its own thing; we get a small share of revenue. You can opt out at adssettings.google.com.
What We Don't Collect
- No email signups, no newsletters, no tracking pixels beyond Google's standard pair.
- No fingerprinting, no session replay, no third-party trackers.
- The contact form sends what you write to our inbox. That's the only personal data we ever hold, and we hold it only as long as needed to respond.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets _ga and _gid. AdSense sets several. Your browser can block them; nothing on this site breaks if you do.
Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
You have the right to: know what we hold (almost nothing), have it deleted (we'll do it), or object to processing (just block our domain). Email privacy [at] flattruths.com with any request and we'll respond inside 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. We're not in the data business — we're in the evidence business — so changes will be rare.
We see traffic numbers and serve standard Google ads. Beyond that, we don't know who you are, and we like it that way.
